Anxiety Affects all Aspects of Life - A letter from the Founder

Anxiety is a drain.

It is a drain on your energy.

It is a drain on your creativity.

It is a drain on your relationships.

It is a drain on your productivity.

It is a drain on your happiness.

But it is also treatable.

Coming from a supplement company you would think this article is all about how our Flowstate Nootropics help treat anxiety symptoms, and while that is true, Flowstate can only help provide temporary relief from anxiety.

In order to gain true results in your battle against daily anxiety you have to make some lifestyle changes. I know what you are thinking, that you have probably heard all of this information before.

But that doesn’t make what I am about to tell you any less true.

The first thing that I make sure I do every day to manage my anxiety is move my body. This doesn’t always mean going to the gym or playing a game of basketball. Some days it means that I just go for a short walk around my neighborhood. Some days it means I just lay on my living room floor and stretch and do some basic yoga poses. It doesn’t have to be much, but it has to be something and it has to be intentional.

Taking the time to focus on your bodily health is all that you have to do.

The second thing that I make sure I do every day is to get at least one thing done on my to-do list. It doesn’t have to be a big thing. But it has to get done. The feeling of accomplishment goes a long way towards battling anxiety symptoms. So do the dishes, or fold your laundry, or maybe just take a shower.

Taking steps towards your future always makes the anxiety go away because you have taken a worry and turned it into action.

The third thing that I do every day to quiet the voices of worry and doubt is to create something for myself and maybe others to enjoy. Maybe I decide to take some photos, maybe I write a blog, or maybe I just cook a delicious dinner. The act of focusing your thoughts on something in front of you that has no true boundaries frees not only your mind, but your soul of its worries about outside events.

These are just a few of the many things that you can do to fight your anxiety. It’s up to you to get active in your own battles and figure out what your own body, mind and soul need to feel happy and content.

Here are some other ideas of things you can do to relieve anxiety.

  • Pushups
